The Long-Fought Battle of the Strutwear Knitters

The Strutwear Knitting Factory strike was the longest and least violent of the three major labor strikes that happened in Minneapolis from 1934 to 1936. Minneapolis Mayor Thomas Latimer and Minnesota Governor Floyd B. Olson were caught in between pressure from Strutwear and protecting their constituents.
