The Long Island Underground Legends of Hip-Hop will be screened at the LIMEHOF Music Documentary Film Festival on September 26th.The documentary takes viewers inside the Long Island hip-hop scene and examines the people and culture that helped shape it, including JVC FORCE, Son of Bazerk and other influential performers. Snowden discusses the challenges of documenting a music movement whose history has often been overshadowed by the better-known story of hip-hop’s New York City origins, as well as the importance of hearing directly from the artists who were there.
