THE LONGEST YARD (2005) Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch | Adam Sandler | Chris Rock

We are back for a first-time watch of The Longest Yard (2005) as Achara and Alli react to this high-energy, comedic remake of the 1974 classic. The story follows a washed-up former NFL quarterback who, after a string of bad decisions, finds himself in a federal penitentiary where he is coerced by a manipulative warden to assemble a team of inmates to play a "tune-up" football game against the brutal prison guards. Directed by Peter Segal (50 First Dates, Tommy Boy, Get Smart, Anger Management, The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps), the film stars Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, Grown Ups, Uncut Gems, Billy Madison) alongside comedy legend Chris Rock (Grown Ups, Madagascar, Everybody Hates Chris, Spiral: From the Book of Saw, Lethal Weapon 4). The powerhouse supporting cast includes Burt Reynolds (Smokey and the Bandit, Boogie Nights, The Longest Yard 1974, Deliverance), Nelly (Country Grammar, Ride Wit Me, CSI: NY), and Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Expendables, White Chicks, Idiocracy). Featuring appearances by professional athletes like Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE Raw, The Expendables, The Condemned), Kevin Nash (Magic Mike, WCW Monday Nitro, John Wick), and Bill Goldberg (WWE SmackDown, Universal Soldier: The Return), the movie was produced by Jack Giarraputo (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds) under the Happy Madison banner. ___________________ We've got merch!
