Happy almost independence day! Nigeria, my home country, is a nation with a rich history, dating far back to before it was even named. One non-native man who's a huge part of that history is the first governor-general of the land, Lord Frederick Lugard... Junior. And I just found out that Nigeria maybe kinda sorta exists because he got his heart broken. What a Joke. Eat ice cream or put on some sad records.
