Even the angels spoke to Mary kindly, But you out-do yourselves to boast, Deeming her but a breeding sow, And hating her the most. 1 Peter 4:16 says "However, if you suffer as a Christian Do not be ashamed, But praise God that you bear the name." If those who are closest to Jesus Are mocked and do suffer, Surely she is closest to Him, His poor despised mother.
