Relationships move and shift, sometimes without warning and I am so glad that it is NOT like that with the LORD. And yet how often are we guilty of taking that sense of insecurity, of wondering and second guessing, and wrongly direct it to our relationship with God? "Are we ok LORD?" "Did I offend you LORD?" "Did you unexpectedly withdraw, LORD?" "Are we still friends?" But God is not like us fickle humans. He never leaves us to question where we stand with Him. What He thinks of us or our relationship to Him. No, in His kindness to us, He makes Himself so clear. He doesn’t come and go based on fickle emotions or changing situations.
