The Lord of the Scars

Death tears people from those they love, while atheism and vague spiritual hopes offer no firm answer. Jesus stands before doubtful Thomas in a recognisable, physical body and invites him to touch the scars. His resurrection gives those who trust Him a concrete hope: they will live personally, receive restored bodies and character, and know peace. The scars remain as signs of His love and accepted sacrifice. Because the wounded Saviour now lives, death cannot have the final word over those who belong to Him.
