The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper is meant to assure us that the body of our Lord Jesus Christ was once and for all delivered up for us, so that it now and forever will be ours; and also, that his blood was once and for all shed for us, so that it is and always will be ours. In the Lord’s Supper, we look back at what Christ did on the cross, look presently at our union with Him, and look to the future marriage supper of the Lamb.
