The Lord's Supper // Part 1
from Christ Center Hosted by Christ Center
The ritual of The Lord’s Supper (sometimes called communion) was the only ritual given to us by Jesus when He walked this Earth. He affirmed Baptism but He didn’t initiate it. We have other rituals in the scriptures like the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, and confession of sins but again others gave those rituals to us. This makes the Lord’s Supper unique. The more I study the Lord’s Supper often called communion I am reminded that it is much like a finely cut diamond twirling in the Sun, every turn giving off a different sparkle. Throughout 2024, the Teaching Team will be sharing a different facet of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month. This week Pastor Steve will look at the first facet...The Lord's Supper is a picture of the INCARNATION.
