The Love Below (OutKast)

Randy and Kris welcome Kelvin Kately, manager of the Datfeelin Podcast Network (DFPN), to talk about Andre 3000's genre-bending 2003 opus, The Love Below. Kelvin talks about why this portion of OuKast's 2003 double album is both a personal favorite and an important stepping stone in the world of modern rap & hip hop. Randy and Kris also travel back to their younger and more vulnerable days to recall their early experiences with the album and its signature hits. The panelists also work together to rank every song on the album and unpack the journey of personal growth and evolution that drives the album. If you listen closely, you will also hear an appearance from some annoying tree frogs that we couldn't scrub from Randy's audio track.Want to get in touch?
