The Love Of Community, Singing, & Postpartum Care With Lindsay Gosse
from The Noble Mother · host Victoria-The Noble Mother
Lindsay Gosse (The e is silent) is a former elite athlete, coach, and educator who spent more than 15 years teaching science, health, and physical education. As a lifelong competitor, she guided students in the classroom, led teams to multiple national championships, and earned accolades of her own as a university-level athlete, triathlete, and dedicated wellness enthusiast. When she became a mother in 2018, everything shifted. Her own postpartum journey revealed a glaring truth: in our modern culture, mothers are left unseen and unsupported during one of the most tender and transformative times of life. Answering that call, she left behind her former and successful teaching career and created Full Bloom Care, a postpartum doula business that offers postpartum education, planning and in-home and virtual care. She now walks alongside women and families as a postpartum doula, bringing her skills as a teacher into educating others on how to truly care for mothers. Her work as a doula is also woven into the understanding of the importance of a thriving community. To foster connection for women in her community she leads song circles. Singing in Full Bloom, is a way for women, mothers, and their little ones to gather and support one another, fostering connection and joy.Lindsay is devoted to closing the gap in postpartum care and reminding us all that when mothers are cared for, families and communities thriveShow Notes:Lindsay Gossehttps://www.fullbloomcare.ca/Rachelle Seliga:https://www.innatetraditions.com/Sasha Padron:https://www.sashapadron.com/Song Circle links:https://singingmamastoronto.ca/newcomer-song-circles/https://www.milaredwood.ca/singing-mamasBlessings, Victoria
