Jesus’ death and resurrection are presented as the foundation for this new life and unity.The church’s purpose is then clarified: to grow and mature through the Great Commission, making disciples and teaching obedience to Christ. This work is empowered by the Holy Spirit, who equips each member with gifts to serve the common good.
