The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 118

from Arroe Collins Forest Stories · host Arroe Collins

My most recent journey back home to Montana was more than a first time event in thirteen years. I found myself in positions of thought that weren't fed by reminiscing but rather understanding the construction of the platforms to which I presently stand. In all our pasts rest the original seeds of inspiration and influence. Not always a positive fuel for the history books. In today's world we're OK with that because we'll redesign the actuality of the experience on social media. Lets break it down even further. Many times throughout the day I'll take note of what's been described as a God Wink moment. Those incredible victories that come out of nowhere and oh my God I can't believe you're the one that gets to experience it. What if God Winks also include some of the worst moments of the chapters you write? The importance of the downfall isn't how you got back up but rather how you're keeping someone from making the same mistake. While in Montana I sat alone at Riverfront Park observing the beauty of how the Yellowstone River had cut into the soil a lay of land that still has the ability to generate energy in me today. This one small section. Maybe a mile wide has been the center point seed to multiple fields of harvest. But not in the God Wink way that most people celebrate. Three completely 100% negative moments that influenced how I share as well as teach even in today's lectures. The hillside where my bicycle flew over a cliff and I wasn't wearing a helmet. The river that sucked me under as a teenager and spit me out thousands of feet later. The highway where the group of very drunk teenagers nearly rolled their car. Extreme negatives right? That's without mentioning that my book Halloween 78 was completely written about this one particular area of Montana. Many of us have been in those moments. You're lucky to still be here today. God Wink. Now... How do you activate it? Each of our lives are layered with horrid moments and bad decisions. What if we stopped making it added weight and physically looked at it as being a purpose and part of a bigger plan?
