The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 120

from Arroe Collins Forest Stories · host Arroe Collins

My most recent journey back home to Montana wasn't designed to collect memories but rather to open my heart toward newer beginnings. One such place of study was taking the time to write while sitting next to my father's grave site. Since May 7, 2015 the physical thought of losing him hadn't truly sunk in. Maybe it's the shape of my spirituality. I thought for sure I'd be moved to deeper tears during that moment in a park with lots of statues and hand carved messages. Let me explain. I learned of my father's passing on Facebook. To take in the moment I left the job and found myself sitting alone at the Billy Graham Library. In all things real the very second I arrived I felt my father did as well. For three years it's become our place of walking and just talking. I created the iHeart Radio Channel The Lyrics From Billy's Forest due 100% to the conversations I was having with my father. In June of 2018 I wrote from where his life is being celebrated. I asked on paper "Dad? Are you the same here in this place as you have been with me at the Billy Graham Library?" What I felt in that moment was shocking by way of unlocking a lot of questions about death and departure.
