The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 126
from Arroe Collins Forest Stories · host Arroe Collins
How often do you go back into your social media posts? It says a lot about how you express. At times I feel like I'm a magnet to everybody's bad day, mood or misunderstanding. It's like an old episode of Batman. Boom! Pow! Biff! That's not the subject of this podcast. Today it's having the courage to go back into what we've written and see how we've grown from those unfiltered moments. I'm a daily journal writer. To be in the presence of 24 years of dug in deep written words is a journey, a task, a misguided step and everything else that unfolded. Here's the thing. What we deliver by way of written word can easily be used as a future tool. It's what we felt in the moment. Do you still agree with what was shared? In my early years of writing I was a hidden speaker. I never let my true heart hang out there. It was a fear of someone reading the material. I came up with my own language. In going back to read it the message is very clear. I'm weird. In Chapter 126 the writer openly talks about how he's not returning to those hidden speak ways. The only reason why he brings it up is because since May of 2016 the written thoughts have evolved from dark thoughts to enlightened structures. In an everyday world someone who is inspired by the song of the bird is quickly labeled of being a hider or up to something. In essence I'm calling myself out. I do so by reminding the writer and creative mind that I have a separate area for the darker moments where I can be brutally honest. The only reason why it's not in the daily journal is because I write at 5 in the morning. It's not healthy to begin a new path with a matchstick.
