The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 186

from Arroe Collins Forest Stories · host Arroe Collins

My entire life I've heard everyone from my parents to longtime friends to always be ready to forgive and forget. That can be a tough cookie. When you do forgive and forgetting becomes the struggle most feel like nothings been done to help improve. Even worse when forgiving has allowed you to forget you're instantly reminded of it because the situation has happened again. On this podcast we talk about the importance of family, friends, coworkers and others you'll one day meet but will it be accomplished in different shapes of a relationship? Trusting the moment is an incredible step toward being peace filled. But are you peaceful? Things happen everyday in the headlines that catapult your emotions back sixteen steps. How do you trust when forgetting is nearly next to impossible. Through awareness I've learned how to put focus on how much we take. We talk all day about being givers but rarely do we admit to being takers. We walk up to a well and take from it. Whether its knowledge, strength or security we tend to take what we need then move to the next well. Isn't that what inspiration and empowerment are? Look at all this good feeling stuff and its mine! I spend a lot of time reading books of motivation. I'll pause for a moment and send a note to the author via Facebook and or Twitter thanking them for sharing their experiences. While reading I felt like I was taking something. Showing gratefulness helps you experience a peace filled journey. What does that have to do with forgiving and forgetting? In all relationships there was or still is a well. Putting your focus on how it provided doesn't soften the heart but it allows you to be respectful and respect filled of those times when you needed what the well provided. Having a different view of the process helps you become stronger on the paths leading toward the next ten minutes to ten years. Who have you taken from today? Be mindful of the present. Share a little gratefulness.
