The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 234

from Arroe Collins Forest Stories · host Arroe Collins

February 9, 2021We’ve got an addiction to More. We want more opportunities, more respect, more money, more entertainment, more space and more more. Have you counted the number of storage companies have taken over the city? Before moving to the southern part of the United States I was told about there being a church on every corner. Today it’s storage units. We have too much More! I recently read about the first ever grocery store and how it’s impact on the community made people dizzy. There were too many choices. Today’s grocery stores spend millions of dollars marketing their More to a consumer expecting and demanding more. When will the human become like a tree and start shedding its leaves? As much as we enjoy watching deer lay in the onetime green water collectors from a tree, the roots of the giant stick aren’t stuck to their past. In 52 weeks more people of science have united than any other time in history. Together they’ve developed not one but several vaccines that will hopefully free us from a pandemic that’s cleared the way for us to become even more addicted to More. We’ve had nothing better to do than buy more stuff. It’s no longer about keeping up with the Jones’ but rather keeping up with us. My wife and I did what’s called The Swedish Death Cleaning in April of 2020. We threw so much away. Only to fill the house back up. If we’re physically collecting more things, what are we doing mentally? How do you know when More is too much? Like the first grocery store a huge part of your inner being is dizzy because too much has been collected and not allowed to fall from your tree of life. Who better to know this than the professionals who’ve made it incredibly easy for anyone seeking help to locate peace by way of making connections on the internet. Non-profit groups have joined the circle offering free help for those with too much Morein their heart and head. The current shape of the planet is anything but round and it’s sure not flat or our collections of More would drop off. What are we searching for? The identity of Covid 19? A political world we can trust? A career that’s connected to open doors and success stories? More means what? Mentally it’s not changing the scale. The snacks and other choices of escapism are though. Physically your house isn’t getting smaller, there’s just more boxes. Oh wait! Let’s move it to storage! Once out what’s coming back in? Getting control of your addiction to More. The first warning sign is admitting there’s nothing to watch on Netflix.
