My guest this week is Hamid Jabbar. Hamid is my sound practitioner teacher and has an incredibly unique background. He works with individuals and groups, facilitating healing through the modalities of sound, plant medicines, bodywork, health coaching, yoga, and meditation - something incredible about Hamid is that he holds each of these teachings in deep reverence to the original teachings, while integrating a multidisciplinary philosophy. Hamid expanded his love for music first as a musician studying at NYU, and then eventually practiced law in the music & production industry. After a career in litigation, he has spent the better part of his life exploring Eastern philosophical and practical systems of Yoga, Ayurveda, Buddhism, Thai bodywork, Japanese energy work, Amazonian plant medicines, and other traditional healing methods. His certifications are both extensive and impressive. I am so grateful to continue to learn from Hamid about all things yoga, sound, & wellness.
