The Mailbag: A Stats Special
from Under The Abbey Stand Hosted by Under The Abbey Stand
We’ve got something slightly different for the second mailbag of the season. You might have noticed our new monthly column for this season ‘Get Your Stats Right’, written by the brilliant Ben Griffis, a United fan based over in Washington DC. We thought we’d get to know Ben a bit better and invited him on a podcast to talk about all the data and numbers behind the U’s including: how well has Nlundulu performed so far? Will Korey Smith’s numbers improve? And what hope do the underlying numbers give United’s survival chances? If you want to check out Ben’s models and play around to find your own interesting stats to back up a theory, you can find him at: https://football-match-reports.streamlit.app/ https://bengriffis.com/ https://x.com/begriffis If you’d like to submit a question for the next mailbag, get in touch with the pod: Socials: @AbbeyStandPod and Under The Abbey Stand Email: [email protected] We’re delighted to be sponsored by King Street Cellar, a unique independent wine, beer and spirits merchants in the centre of Cambridge. www.kingstreetcellar.co.uk Subscribe below to never miss a pod or post: Thanks for reading Under The Abbey Stand!
