The Making of “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” w/ Pamela Martin (Editor)

from Sending Signals · host Matt Royal

This episode I am joined by two-time Academy Award nominee, film editor Pamela Martin. She edited the recent Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere”. The film was directed Scott Cooper, adapted from Warren Zanes’ book documenting the making of Springsteen’s stark classic “Nebraska”. Pam has worked on movies including King Richard, Little Miss Sunshine, Battle Of The Sexes, Free State Of Jones, Hitchcock, and many more. If you’re listening to this as a Springsteen fan I think you’ll find it fascinating, but even if you’re interested more broadly in film making, I think this is the first time I’ve had an editor on the show, so it was interesting for me to learn more about the parameters and responsibilities of the role, and Pamela was fantastic company and had so much to say. Her passion for her work really comes through. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly did. I also give a run-down of my favourite albums and events of the year. Find me on Instagram @sendingsignalspodcast

The DeyOasis Podcast with Barbara Deyo Barbara Deyo Thank you for joining me on my healing journey. My life in a sentence? "Another chapter for the book!" Well, that book is finally being written! In the meantime, join me here, as I openly share my life experiences - the ups, the downs and the spaces in between. The insight I have gleaned and the lessons I have learned, expressed in a mixture of spirituality, quantum physics, law of attraction, energy healing, poetry and meditations, a bit of humor, some chats with guests, and whatever may be on my heart and mind in the present moment. Sending peace and love and ease and grace...Namaste. It serves as a reminder that we have the power to create everything in our lives. We can choose to create struggle or we can choose to create joy, happiness, and abundance. Let's start celebrating every moment! This song is also a part of our album, "Seeded." Sending you lots of love and blessings.HaleenBreath in strengthExhale doubtI am connected in and outI am the ruler of my own fateMy spirit soars never too lateLet us celebrate who we areIn all our light and shadeAnd embrace the beautyThat we have so bravely madeLet us celebrateLet us ease the painAnd snap the chains that bindHave mercy on ourselves and all of humankindBreath in strengthExhale doubtI am connected in and outBreath in strengthExhale doubtI am connected in and outI am connected in and outComposer - Hans De Bruck - Kathleen MerckxLyrics - Kathleen Merckx - Hans De BruckISRC - QM8DG2313513all rights reserved
