In the first official episode Pastor Burns discusses the challenges that exist when believers seek to be mediators in this area of racial unity. Being in the middle causes misunderstandings from every angle and yet, Just as Christ stood between heaven and humanity to bring unity, we must be willing to do no less. This is the heart of how the gospel shapes our commitment to unity. Christ achieved it between us and the Lord and now we, as His new creation ministers of reconciliation must be willing to do and endure the same.
