The Man Who Would be King Chapter 2

In which two English adventurers, disguised as a mad priest and his servant, set forth with a caravan towards the mysterious and treacherous lands beyond the border, armed with little more than courage, firearms, and a cunning plan to claim a kingdom. Their journey unfolds in a grim and rugged mountain country, where they win followers and establish a strange new order under thrones forged of gold and ancient rites, all narrated by a weary, haunted survivor recounting their strange and fateful tale.
