The Mansions Are Already There

If the mansions in the Father's house are already standing, what is it the Lord Jesus Christ goes to prepare? Read verse 3 and ask whether the going and the preparing are two things or one, and where He was going within hours of speaking it. Thomas says he does not know the way, so ask whether the Lord Jesus Christ answers him with a route to walk or with Himself. Then read the ye in verses 13 and 14 and ask whether this promise is made to one man on his own or to His people together. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
