Episode 1 Summary: Meet Fitz Koehler - the woman who was literally announcing marathon races while poison was pumping through her veins. Most people getting chemo treatments can barely get out of bed. Fitz was getting on airplanes, flying across the country, and motivating thousands of runners to cross finish lines while she was fighting for her own life. In this opening episode, Fitz takes us back to the moment her perfectly orchestrated life as a fitness expert and race announcer collided with a breast cancer diagnosis. The shock of someone so dedicated to health and fitness being told her own body was betraying her. How she made the impossible decision to keep working through treatment when everyone told her to stop.
