THE MARCUS TODAY MORNING MEETING – Friday 11th November

Its "Game on" and I don't mean England versus Pakistan (although that's game on as well). We have been waiting for this day and whilst nothing is certain, what more do we need? The US CPI number suggests we have seen inflation peak, interest rates peak, the peak in Fed aggression, markets bottom, and on the back of that it's GAME ON. We have already positioned for this in the Strategy Portfolio, and the Ideas Portfolio, our themes are already "in". Interest rate sensitive stocks, Technology, Housing, Gold (as the US dollar peaks), Risk on stocks (Hot stocks and smaller stocks) and Stock Market stocks (a sector we invented). Banks and Resources will underperform in this relief rally but they will still go up. We also have a BUY HOLD SELL on a stock that is arguably the best buy in Australia today. Anyone who has been in broking will tell you that the Morning Meeting is how all brokers start the day.
