THE MARCUS TODAY MORNING MEETING – Friday 18th November

The ASX is up 24 points (+0.3%), very slow day, with another narrow trading range, only 26 points.  Financials are the best performers, with the Big Bank Basket up to $185.14 (+0.8%). Defensive sectors are having another positive day, industrials, utilities, and staples are all higher. Resources are mixed. Iron ore miners and energy stocks are basically unchanged, but gold and lithium stocks are struggling.  Technology has also barely moved, the All-Tech Index is down 0.2%. BHP Group (BHP +0.4%) has revised its proposal for Oz Minerals (OZL +4.0%) up to $28.25/share.  Dow Futures down 11 points, and NASDAQ Futures up 29 points.Anyone who has been in broking will tell you that the Morning Meeting is how all brokers start the day.
