The Marks of the Church

We, along with all Christians throughout the centuries, confess the words of the Nicene Creed — including its articulation of one holy, catholic, and apostolic church. However, not all Christians have agreed on the precise meaning and application of these terms. Taking cue from the reformers, we consider these terms in light of the one undisputed mark of the church — the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
