His chance encounter having to physically deal with a situation witnessed by Heather gave him his start in training in JKD, FMA, and Muay Thai. After Heather's career took her into training military, Raul opened his own school called SIN Martial Arts and getting certified under the legendary Guro Dan Inosanto.
