The Marvelous Land of Oz Chapter 9 - The Scarecrow Plans an escape

In which the Scarecrow, Jack Pumpkinhead, Tip, and the Soldier with the Green Whiskers find themselves prisoners of an unexpected conqueror and devise a daring plan to flee the besieged palace upon the swift and spirited Saw-Horse. Their frantic escape leads them crashing through the city gates and plunging headlong into a rushing river, stirring both peril and hope in equal measure.
