Today we ask a simple question: in Revenge of the Sith, did the Force lightning damage Palpatine's face, or did it reveal what he truly looked like underneath? During his climactic battle with Mace Windu, Palpatine releases a massive onslaught of lightning that rebounds off of Mace's lightsaber blade. At that moment it seems that the Chancellor's face is disfigured, but some fans theorize that the face we have been seeing up to that point is a mask made by the Force. Join with me as we discuss.
