The Mason Jar Cafe Furry Friend of the Week!

Valentine’s Day has just passed but there are still a lot of people out there looking for love! If you’re still looking for the perfect companion, we have just the dog for you! Katie is a 46lb, 3–5 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is the biggest lover in the world! She’s got a funny little foot, but doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. The only thing this volunteer favorite wants to do is lie with her head in your lap and be right by your side! Katie makes a terrific road trip buddy, but also is happy to hang out in her bed while you do laundry or the dishes. She's 100% housebroken; she keeps her kennel spotless! Katie is also okay walking past & being near other dogs—but doesn't want to share a home with one (or cats for that matter). She’s a one-man/one-woman gal. Like all dogs at Berrien County Animal Control, Katie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm tested (she’s negative!). Stop by Berrien County Animal Control (1400 South Euclid Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI 49022) on Mondays-Thursdays (9:00-5:30) and Fridays (9:00-2:30) to meet our adorable heartbreaker, Katie! This month, we are offering $14 adoptions in honor of finding YOUR forever love. We will be open this Saturday, February 17th from 9:00-Noon for adoptions, so come on down and find some romance!
