D&DeBrief episode 013 - The Master of the Coral Summary: After freeing the trapped Hokka, the party finds a way to fish the spellcasting goblin out of the boiling mud, but they find a lot more than eggs in the boiling pool, and get no answers from the single living goblin in the chamber. Bolem tries to convince Khonnos to open the gate again so that they can go defeat the Howling Beast on the other side. Marcel finds an amulet and the group takes the lens as they leave the temple. When they get back to the Hokka village the group gets a surprise! Debrief: This episode we talk about using prophecies in campaigns, player agency vs DM choices, and how to deal with player agency when one person's desired actions are directly opposed to another player's actions, and the concept of closing the loop in GMing.
