THE MATRIX (1999) BLEW OUR MINDS! | Movie Reaction | Keanu Reeves | Laurence Fishburne

Kristen and Alli sit down to properly watch the groundbreaking 1999 sci-fi action masterpiece The Matrix for the very first time. Watch as they experience the mind-bending reality check of Thomas Anderson—a computer hacker known as Neo—who discovers that the world he knows is a simulated illusion created by sentient machines to harvest human energy. Joined by rebel leader Morpheus and elite freedom fighter Trinity, Neo must embrace his destiny as "The One" to liberate humanity from the machines and defeat rogue enforcement programs led by Agent Smith. From the iconic bullet-time slow-motion visual effects to the revolutionary martial arts wire-fu choreography, follow along as the duo experiences every legendary twist, philosophical subtext, and pulse-pounding fight sequence in real time. Directed and written by the visionary Wachowskis (Marvel’s V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, Sense8, Speed Racer, Jupiter Ascending), the legendary blockbuster stars Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Constantine, Speed, Cyberpunk 2077, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) as Neo, Laurence Fishburne (Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, John Wick: Chapter 2, Man of Steel, Boyz n the Hood, Hannibal) as Morpheus, Carrie-Anne Moss (Marvel’s Jessica Jones, The Acolyte, Memento, Disturbia, Mass Effect 2) as Trinity, Hugo Weaving (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, Transformers, V for Vendetta, Hacksaw Ridge) as Agent Smith, and Joe Pantoliano (Bad Boys for Life, The Sopranos, Memento, Gonies, Risky Business) as Cypher. ___________________ We've got merch!
