The Matt Duffin Show - August Miracle's

A boatload of trauma and survival, change and improvements, pitfalls and baby steps come August...Certainly in my world.   Recovery leaps as well.  August 16, 2008 I crashed and rolled.  Flipped too.  Cracked my head from 51' measured feet away, and soon met God, then I met you.  I like the new me.  So I'm confident (not cocky) and hope to display that feeling to a world full of listening brain injured survivers.  I thank them.  I love you.  You are what I asked God to allow me to attempt to do.  He evidently did. Add 'em up, six recorded deaths, six months of in-house recovery and six months of thought, and 6 months of attemp to go back to work.   Six National, State or International TBI Awards during said time.  I had to retire, resign, stop, ok, quit writing sports.  Support Group waned, I joined during the better times though, after SIX attempts to start one.  Six more years of my dad's life, and without him the number adds to zero.  He wanted it (me) to keep it up.  TV bound, sixes on hold as the premier is this thursday, the same day as the Dr Lisa Thompson Golf Outing To Remember, our annual foundation golf day for the wealthy (and good good folks, let me add.).     Then, doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor, doctor annual reports on my TBI.  And I'm staying away from the Researchers for now. Of the biggest miracles of the upteenth surgery's of doctors  who worked on me in August past, of Recovery joys and foundations is the New Castle Miracle Baseball League.   All are welcome on our diamonds, however mental disabilities are a solid requirement.  I smile with them all, one legged or two adults who have battled mental health chronically, all their lives. Break Time.
