Dr Samatha Backhaus explains the brain, it funtioning parts and NON-funtioning parts recorded from inside my personal origional Brain Injury Coping Skills (BICS) classes. I'm hospitalized (yet the show must go on, and since THE show is titled under my name- well...), following MAJOR by-pass surgery last Thursday (93 damned staples worth). Its the beginning of my "Brain Injury Radio Hospital Tour", with next week's (or three) coming from the to-be current stay at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. I was fooled at first (dagnabbed TBI), but RHI is where my return to life found it's footing (Or at least the building where I learned my name, eventually - after 'sleeping for 54 days in 2008!). A quote from one of the smartest men I know - "work hard to play hard and have fun. Don't ever quit - believing or on 'the team'.....
