John Mellencamp, minus a Cougar, released SCARECROW in 1985, and the words 35 years later has more meaning than probably than ever before, it seems.  But, Johnny was a smart man.  Er, IS a smart man.  Hoosier, ya know.  Oddly, Johns venture into HS football at Seymour HS, found the same man coaching him as I did, a few years later.  Joe Suminski was the name, winners he tried to produce. In his own way, John has too.  It's just a laugh, and a tear, on the way to minutes to memories, has made this Nation cry.
