'The Matt Duffin Show' - Who Cares? Hopefully Some One...

So, a mother of 3, or father wth a six-figure job attains a brain injury.  It's bad, but not death.  Now what?  Who changes the diapers?  Who makes the dinner?  Who, who, who? In acceptance of reality as a TBI Survivor, you realize its not going to be you.  You may need you diapers changed, and sandwich made - besides the kids too.  The money, the bills, the time of life adjusted is the life of a Caregiver.  And more. Key word:  Care.  Family member, spouse, neighbor or home health - key word is 'Care'.  You Caring Soul must Care for you, a must all the way around.  As well as you CARE FOR YOUR CAREGIVER.  Trust, enjoy being around and of course, don't make or 'drive' them made either. It's a practice, like surviving is.  Good times, bad times, we've all had our share.  The Caregivers world has changed as well, and before we realized ours did.  I'll educate (best possible, anyway) from the BICS 'bible', as early in the semester 'Care Giving Awareness' is taught.
