The Melvins Dale Crover

Send us Fan MailDale Crover shares his Splash Story with myself and Diamond Dave and he's one hell of a laid back good humoured guy. He tells us he's fabulous ! He had a rough time of it sometime back having to undergo an emergency spinal surgery operation so that's good to hear. Not for the faint hearted but he's a Melvin right!  On tour with Ministry after the Pandemic led to two drummers on The Tarantula Heart album with influences by PIL's Flowers of Romance and a new way of working and putting the tracks together and having "really long songs on it." There's reminiscenses on Kiss Gene Simmons, Atlantic Records and a whole bunch of insights.Crover mentioned he felt fortunate to work with King Buzzo whom he describes as "a great, idiosyncratic songwriter and a superb live performer". He added that working with Kurt Cobain, Mike Patton and Buzz had been great -  all three knew what they wanted " I just sit at the back, add a bit of direction and help steer the ship." We trust you'll enjoy the ride too....Melvins Tarantula Heart album https://melvinsofficial.bandcamp.com/album/tarantula-hearthttps://themelvins.net/Insta : https://www.instagram.com/melvinsdotcom/?hl=enFB https://www.facebook.com/melvinsarmy/IPECAC Records https://ipecac.com/releases/Dale Crover summer 2024 USA tour dates : https://music.mxdwn.com/2024/04/22/news/melvins-dale-crover-announces-summer-2024-u-s-tour-dates/https://www.themelvins.net/forum/index.php?topic=23791.0Support the showGet in touch with Splash Stories : [email protected]/thesplashclubJoin Splash Stories https://www.buzzsprout.com/1891668/supporthttps://www.instagram.com/thewonderstuffofficial/https://www.instagram.com/rickywarwickofficial/https://www.instagram.com/echobelly_official/https://www.instagram.com/officialskunkanansie/https://www.instagram.com/feederofficial/https://www.instagram.com/kcmanc/?hl=enhttps://www.facebook.com/kerbdogband/https://www.instagram.com/sohoradiohttps://www.facebook.com/groups/SoundAsEverhttps://www.pearllowe.co.ukhttps://www.supergrass.comhttps://www.wienerworld.com/product/gary-crowleys-indie-90s-playback-classics-curveballs-and-bangers/Terrorvision Tequila  : https://youtu.be/8hLQCA2h8kA?si=7_HfuruL5fFUnMdFhttps://linktr.ee/thesoupdragonshttps://www.merchbar.com/rock-alternative/cj-wildhearthttps://www.facebook.com/CJWildheartOfficial/https://www.instagram.com/cjwildheart/EMF  www.emf-theband.com
