The Memorial of Saint Ephrem and Doctor of the Church

Today's readings explore the call to trust God's provision and shine as beacons of faith in the world. We hear how the prophet Elijah asks a poor widow to share her last bit of food, trusting in God's promise of abundance. Jesus then calls his followers to be salt and light, letting their good works illuminate God's love for all to see.
