OVERVIEW: In this episode of "the Mentee speaks", Mrs Jagruti Raval takes us through her experience as a Mentee and how this relationship has helped her excel in her career as a HR Lead in a notable NGO in India. Mrs Raval revealed that she has both personal and professional mentors; the former being her husband and sister and the latter her Senior colleague. She mentioned that she realised she needed a mentor when she was faced by some challenges in her workplace. Her mentor being a senior colleague, with more experience helped her to weather those challenges. Mrs Jagruti Raval told us a few challenges she has had to face in the course of her work including the ability to manage age dynamics within the workplace as a young lady. Also the issue of insecurity in some states and her ability to travel often as required by her job/employer.
