While some religious leaders prosper materially, countless followers remain trapped in cycles of exploitation and disillusionment. Jesus's sound teachings advocate for a faith centred on compassion, humility, and service—values that are often overshadowed by the lure of financial gain and commercial success. For religion to retain its authenticity and transformative power, it must strive to return to its roots. A focus on uplifting the marginalized, offering genuine spiritual guidance, and fostering community solidarity can help faith reclaim its rightful place as a source of hope and healing. As articulated in Micah 6:8, “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?
