The Mercy Seat: Where Sins are Forgiven

Last week we began a study of the simple yet beautiful tent called the "Tabernacle." We explained the anatomy and testimony of the Ark of the Covenant. We learned God is trustworthy and that we can rest in His promises. We will remain in the holy of holies today a long look at the covering of the Ark, the piece known as the "Mercy Seat." For man to reach this place, he must come by the way of the Brazen Altar with the sacrificial blood of a clean animal. But when God introduced this meeting place, He started by explaining Who He is and how to implore His mercy.
