 Church Life                                          “The Message of a Miracle”                                                         Acts 3:17-26 Gospel Guilt (vv.17-23)   Amos 9:14-15 14 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. 15 I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.   Zec. 14:4, 6-7, 9,16  On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley.. 6 On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost. 7 And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light….9 And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one. 16 Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.   Isa. 65:20 No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.   Matt. 24:30,36, 44 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory…36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only…. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.   Gospel Grace (vv.24-26)   Gen. 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
