The Messiah We Didn't Expect: Understanding the Suffering King

We've all had moments when we thought we understood something perfectly, only to discover we'd completely missed the point. He correctly identifies Jesus as the Messiah. But while Peter understands Jesus's identity, he completely misunderstands Jesus's mission. He sees enough to know who Jesus is, but not enough to grasp what kind of Messiah He came to be.
