The Metal Forge - 10-2-2020 - Evildead (Rob Alaniz)

Evildead was initially formed in 1986 by Juan Garcia and Mel Sanchez as a side-project, but became a full-time band after their respective bands Agent Steel and Abattoir broke up. Upon the reformation of Agent Steel, Juan brought Karlos Medina with him. After the demise of Evildead in 1995, Garcia, Medina and Dan Flores formed the band Terror that would follow in the same vein of Evildead, but with lyrics in Spanish. Reunited in 2008, the band played and headlined its first show in over 20 years at a small thrash festival named "Thrasho De Mayo" in Los Angeles. They split-up once again in October 2012. Evildead reunited once more on March 12th, 2016 to celebrate the 50th birthday of Rob Alaniz.
