The metaverse: how to build something we can all gain from

Is the metaverse more than just a catchy buzzword? Can companies and regulators build something safe, engaging and useful? We speak to Cathy Li, head of Media, Entertainment and Sport at the World Economic Forum, who is leading an initiative called Defining and Building the Metaverse. That is bringing together companies, governments and civil society around the world, to discuss possible futures for the metaverse. The first fruits of that work will be unveiled in Davos in January.
