The Miami Hurricanes Beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl and College Football Playoff - The Recap

The Miami Hurricanes went to Dallas and Jerry's World and proved all of the doubters wrong, winning their second College Football Playoff game, beating Ohio State. The Hurricanes were dominant up front on both sides of the football, and they did enough in both the run game and the passing game to get the W. The story, though, was Corey Heatherman's defense. It was just stellar. Sure, Jeremiah Smith got his, but otherwise, OSU could not get anything else going. The Hurricanes move on to the Fiesta Bowl to play the winner of UGA/Ole Miss.
