Hi Sean, Hi Daz, it’s been a lower excitement week after the EFL Cup win - progress in the FA Cup to the last 8 and quite a challenging League game against West Ham: The games: Norwich - 2-1; felt too easy until Rashica scored, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane arriving at the end had to tell Norwich that it was over. West Ham - close in terms of xG. Watching it back, feels like we should have been comfortable in this game. Lot more reflection on: How unlucky West Ham were… How many players didn’t play as well as they could The deficiencies of xG - the ball that rolled around their goal line had 0.0xG Luis Diaz - what would a pre-season do… Games coming up.. Inter and Brighton…. Other narratives: Tomkins Times - Salah foul breakdown - #onlySalah needs to play more than a game to get a foul Man Utd - Sean is wrong surely. Wan-Bissaka is good in the way 1980s right backs could be considered competent. Chelsea - is their Russian golden age over?
