The union man vs someone that lives in a right to work state like here in Louisiana. I don’t know how that strike works w/ the right to work aspect of the state. We have both here so how does that work? This brings up the age old struggle of the labor unions vs the man. So all the ports have come to a complete standstill as of midnight last night. Mike Parrott was talking about how our ports are still back in the stone age compared to other ports. Lots of other ports in other countries have almost 50% automation. Supply Chain Shortage in 2020 –  Stuff isn’t coming in and stuff isn’t going out. So all those non-union workers are also out of work.  It will be a snowball effect. Due to the natural disaster that just happened this strike won’t last long. These people will need lumber and steel to rebuild in these states effected by Hurricane Helene. QUESTION: What is the average pay of a full-time ILA member? ANSWER: $81,120 on average for the year They are asking for 70% increase which would get them to $143,520 per year.   23m Hurricane Helene You just have to show up. This is an awful way to regulate a communications industry. It needs certain rules and regulations.  A Pirate Radio Station – You have to pay for FCC licenses, there are tons of regulations and it is very expensive. A pirate radio station doesn’t have to do that. It seems clear they intend to indict her.  Farrell faces 25 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and honest services fraud. The indictment accuses him and his building-inspection firm, IECI, of submitting hundreds of fake permit applications on behalf of unlicensed electricians who paid Farrell bribes in exchange for getting work that should have gone to licensed electricians.
