The Million Dollar Question

Sermon Title: The Million Dollar Question Sermon Series: God Over Money Passage: Matthew 6:19-24 Speaker: Sam Cassese Date: May 24, 2026 What if the biggest danger to your soul isn’t obvious greed, but a quiet attachment to things that won’t last? We all know money can make life more comfortable. But what if money has quietly become the thing we’re living for? Most of us spend our lives chasing security, comfort, and “just a little more,” assuming that’s normal. But Jesus asks a piercing question: What are you actually investing your life in? In this sermon, we begin a new series called God Over Money by wrestling with a Million Dollar Question that cuts beneath the surface of our bank accounts and straight into the direction of our lives: What treasure are you really chasing?
